Description[edit]

Not unlike the Red-tailed Hawk, the Cat-eyed Eagle is a highly variable species, with plumages ranging in grey, black, white, or brown. They range from 20–25 in (51–64 cm), with females being larger than males.

Cat-eyed Eagles often perch upon the backs of stubbills, like the bee-eaters of Africa perching upon the backs of bustards.
