The Eared Swallow (Hirundo aurita) is a species of swallow that is exclusively found in Devonshire. It is a small passerine bird that is recognized for the two tufts of feathers that protrude from the back of its head which gave it its name (despite not being its true ears).

The Eared Swallow is a small bird that is typically has a bluish-green upper body and a yellowish-orange belly. It has a blackish tail with darker rings around it.
The two tufts of extended feathers on the back of the Eared Swallow's head are not its ears despite common misconceptions and as well as namesake purposes.
