Scientiphic name: streptopelia decaocto. Sometimes called only "collared dove".

Description[edit]

It has a light gray-beige body, a black collar, black wingtips and white tailtips. It is slightly smaller than a pigeon.

Behaviour[edit]

Diet[edit]

This bird eats mainly seeds and sometimes berries, fruit and insects.

Calls[edit]

the call is a repeated hu-huu-hu, hu-huu-hu, while the flight call is a pitched and gruff sound.
