Metavians, (Metaves) is a superdivision containing an assortment of birds.

It contains flamingos, grebes, tropicbirds, sandgrouse, Columbidae, Eurypygiformes, the oilbird, potoos, frogmouths, Caprimulgidae and Apodiformes.

It is sister to Coronaves.
