Description[edit]

The Tundra Swan has a coat of white feathers though is distinguished by its large, black bill. Yellow lores adorn its eyes while the neck of a Tundra Swan is held straight up.

The Tundra Swan ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 m in size for its length while its wingspan can be up to 2 m.[1]

The Tundra Swan, while in flight, lets out a high-pitched and quivering "oo-oo-whoo" call repeatedly.[1]

Distribution/habitat[edit]

Despite being uncommon, the Tundra Swan is found in shallow areas of lakes and wetlands. [1]
